President of Veneto Jazz since 1988, the cultural association that operates in the sector of jazz and contemporary music through concerts, art expositions, meetings and organizer of one of the most prestigious European workshops dedicated to jazz instruction (Summer Jazz Workshop, Bassano del Grappa, in collaboration with the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music of New York). He is the artistic director of the Veneto Jazz Festival, one of the most important Italian jazz festivals (100 concerts per year in 40 different areas of the Veneto region) that, in its history, has hosted major stars from the highest reaches of the international jazz scene. The most important jazz events in Italy carry the name of this association: from the last European concert of Miles Davisto the concert of Keith Jarrett (Castelfranco, 1991) (with a trio at the Arena of Verona in 2004 and piano solo at Teatro La Fenice of Venice in 2006).
